General Skills Classic ATS®

A 10-hour intensive presenting the Classic vocabulary of steps from the FCBD® Tribal Basics DVD series Vol. 1 Fundamentals of Dance and Vol. 4 Embellishments and Variations as well as cues, formations, lead and follow and chorus. Students must attend all 10 hours, no exceptions. Certificate awarded upon completion.

General Skills Modern ATS®
Novemer 10th-11th
A 10-hour intensive presenting the Modern vocabulary of steps the FCBD® Tribal Basics DVD series Vol. 7 Creative Steps and Combinations, along with simple music theory for ATS® and lots of drills. Students must attend all 10 hours, no exceptions. Certificate awarded upon completion.

General Skills Classic ATS® and Modern ATS® Bundle
Novemer 8th-11th
Students can take both General Skills Classic ATS® and General Skills Modern ATS® for a combination discounted rate. Both classes are required in order for students to apply for the Teacher Training course and The Business of ATS® course. Students will be required to attend all 20 hours of class, no exceptions. Certificate for each (Classic ATS® and Modern ATS®) awarded upon completion.

Teacher Training

For graduates of General Skills for ATS® Classic and Modern.
Curriculum will include an introductory slide show lecture with Carolena, instruction on how to present the concept of ATS®, the steps, verbal instruction, physical cuing, assessing students needs, answering common questions, structuring a class and troubleshooting.

A forum discussion moderated by Carolena for graduates of ATS® Teacher Training that have had time to put the training to use. No dance instruction or dancing.

One 5-hour day, GS and TT prerequisite.

Devi Mamak Workshop

In this workshop, students will take personal instruction from Devi Mamak in ATS® Belly Dance and recieve Sister Studio Continued Education credit.

The Show
November 7th
The Show will be an event held at the end of the Devi Mamak Workshop day featuring performances by Devi herself, full service dinner other performances and more.
Price:
$50 all inclusive for performance, dinner and After Party.

Following The Show will be an after party. Admittance is included with purchase of The Show ticket. If you do not wish to attend The Show, but would like to attend the After Party, a $10 cash cover charge will be needed at the entrance.

From date of purchase, students have up to 5 business days to submit an application (including a brief bio of themselves) and a signed contract (via mail or email) to either the address listed on the form or to jvinerrealtor@aol.com. The bio should include their experience with ATS®, any personal comments, but not be a “resume” type listing of everything they have ever done! Just as it relates to ATS® and what they want to achieve at the Intensive. Downloadable Contract Documents can be found under the title of the class and must be completed for each individual class. Only one bio will be necessary per student.
After completing both forms, if sent via mail, please send an email to jvinerrealtor@aol.com announcing the submission. After the sponsors of the event have recieved and reviewed both the application and signed contract, as well as the final payment for all classes, the student will recieve a conformational letter via mail to the shipping address given at time of purchase, which will need to be presented at their first class as proof of acceptance along with a photo ID.
Students must be proficient in English, or must supply their own interpreter with approval from Carolena and Megha.
